Regulatory settlement (in lieu of financial penalty) against the UK licensee BV Gaming Limited, then trading as BetVictor (brands betvictor.com, Heart Bingo, Parimatch). Failings over 1 Jan 2019-12 Mar 2020 covered anti-money-laundering, social-responsibility/safer-gambling, and fairness (CMA-related T&Cs). Comprised ~£1.72m in lieu of penalty, £352,000 divestment of gross gambling yield and ~£11,000 costs, paid to the National Strategy to Reduce Gambling Harms. Betano had not yet launched in the UK, but the action attaches to the same licence (account 39576) the Betano UK site now trades under. Action confirmed in the UKGC press release; it no longer appears on the live public-register sanctions page, which only displays actions from ~June 2023 onward.
